Aliens vs. Predator The Game
Aliens vs. Predator, rivalry of the millennium. You have seen it in the comics, movies and comics now it is coming to the consoles like PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. The game is developed by Rebellion Developments, a British based developer team who is behind the original PC version of the game in the year 1999. Publishers for the game are Sega. Genre for Aliens vs. Predator will be First person shooter. The game is set to be based on the characters of Predator franchise and Aliens franchise. It will be released in single and multiplayer mode. Although not confirmed but the game will be released in the first quarter of the year 2010. It will be interesting to choose from the two most furious enemies of human kinds. It is unknown that whether the movie will be based on the movie or there will be something else in the story section of the game.
Aliens vs. Predator will be played in the First person perspective. As a player, it’s your choice to play as an Alien, Predator or Marine. Each of them will have different missions. When you as an Alien you will be to use their teeth, tails and claws as weapons and will be able to climb walls. Marine will use traditional human weaponry, which will include weapons like Motion Tracker, Pulse Rifle. Marine mode will be more like a traditional first person shooter. Most exciting is the Predator mode. As a Predator you can use many special abilities like context sensitive jumping it will help you to reach heights easily. You will have a wider range of weapons when playing as a Predator, like wrist blades, Predator mines and plasmacaster. Famous cloaking of Predators will also be there for use, to will make them invisible to humans but not for Aliens. There will be separate vision mode available for Predators. Like Infrared will be best for spotting humans easily and Alien vision for spotting Aliens with an ease.
Other than these two modes, there will be a “Focus Mode” it will help players to see more information about a specific enemy, like the type of weapon they are carrying and how much far they are from the possible threat. As a Predator you will fight normal melee attack and a special attack called Trophy Kill. In this mode player can remove spinal chord and skull of the opponent, making it a gruesome and cinematic kill. You can use this kill on both Aliens and humans and also in the multiplayer mode. First announcement for the game were made in Kotaku and Sega announced that Aliens vs. Predator is under development. One possibility is that because of Aliens vs. Predator’s development there may be delay in Sega’s other upcoming game Aliens: Colonial Marines. So gamers get ready to play the two characters you will least like to meet i.e. Aliens and Predator, or if you still hate them play as a human and feel the fear and get rid of them.
