Animal de Muerte is an upcoming game for Wii. High Voltage Software is the company developing the game. Animal De Muerte will only be released for Wii. It will be the second game for WiiWare. Released dates are not revealed by the game developers. It is one of the most awaited game for Wii. According to the developers “Animal de Muerte is an ambitious game that looks like a merger between Resident Evil and Viva Pinta. It’s also the most exciting titles scheduled for Nintendo’s download service. Animal de Muerte is not just for kids who want to play with animals or for them who want to face zombies, it’s for all.

The game starts in Mexico where a zoo called “Valle De La Sol Public Zoo” is in danger. Owner of the zoo is a charismatic geezer Don Eduardo Mendoza. All the animals of the zoo like- monkeys, elephants, warthogs, zebra and many other suddenly dying of an unknown infection. Then suddenly one day all the died animals are reborn as flesh-eating zombies. In the zoo, which is on high alert the infected zombies are roaming freely. They are not concerned about the scraps tossed to them from visitors, now these monsters are interested in eating visitors and other living beings in the zoo.

The player takes the role of Marco and Maria Mendoza, Don Eduardo’s grandchildren. They are proficient in using weapons. Their task is to bring back all the infected and non infected animals back to the zoo. The two characters of the game will carry various kind of guns and items to face the zombies. They will also carry nets in order to capture and save the non infected animals. Gameplay of Animal De Muerte is similar to the classic shooting games like Alien Syndrome and Smash TV. As Animal De Muerte will only be available for Wii, High Voltage has heavily focused on the use of Wii remote. Nunchuck analog stick is used to move the character and the Nintendo pointer is used to aim. With a quick flick of the Nunchuck you can throw grenades at any point aimed by the reticule. You can play alone or play with three partners in a four-player single screen co-operative mode. The co-operative mode seems chaotic.

On your progression in the game, gateways and doorways will open for you only after you have killed a fixed number of zombies and accomplished other secondary objectives. You can also earn Pesos in the way from destructible objects, dead zombies and boss characters. These pesos can be used to buy temporary boost and more destructive guns and items. There are many mold-o-matic machines in the Valle De La Sol Public Zoo. You can use these machines to waxy replicas of your favorite animals. Many other valuable items like many powerful guns are placed as hidden packages.
