Battlefield is one of the best and longest running First person shooter series; it features more than 19 games. Battlefield is the favorite name in the world of online gaming for the FPS (First person shooters) lovers with unlimited action. Everyone loved the games of the series because they were loaded with large maps and vehicle warfare over and above traditional first person shooters. After the success of Battlefield: Bad Company, which shows a fictional War between Russian Federation and United States, developers and publisher of the game Electronic Arts announced the sequel to the game, to be released in the first quarter of the year 2010 as Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

Bad Company 2 or simply known as Bad Company 2 or BF: BC2 is an upcoming game of the Battlefield series. First announced at the Electronic Art’s earnings Conferences, it is expected to be showcased at E3 2009 to be held in Los Angeles. It will be direct sequel to Battlefield: Bad Company. Just like all the previous titles of the series it will developed by EA Digital Illusions CE and will be published by Electronic Art. Bad Company 2 will release on Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Game engine used in Bad Company 2 is the modified version of the Frostbite Engine, which was used in the most of the games of the series.

Gameplay of Bad Company 2 resembles that of Battlefield: Bad Company. As the War is going between United States and Russian Federation, the game will take place in the mountainous regions along the border of Russia. Players are independent to choose tactics through missions. One of the most attractive feature of the series, fully destructible environment will be there in Bad Company 2. Weapon kits have been cut from five in the first game to four in the latest game. Four weapon kits in the game will be “Assault, Recon, Medic and Engineer”. Players must have to choose them before each match. A new feature to the game is a customizable weapon selection menu, it will give players to choose different Reflex sights or ACOG’s. This menu will allow you to choose between long or short barrel grenade launchers. In match, players will gain experience points, which will allow them to level to multiple ranks, just like the previous games. You will gain Experience points when you kill an enemy or complete an objective. Each time you kill an enemy points will be displayed on the screen. Dog tag system will allow players to pick up dead enemies tag for collection. Get ready for yet another Battlefield with new advanced features.
