Counter strike was one of earliest game that gave players an online sensation of first person shooting. In the summers of 1999 world saw the first version of Counter strike, which was going to be one of the most played online game. This game will be a modification of the previous version Counter strike: condition zero.

Counter strike online is a remake of Counter strike: Condition Zero. It is targeted towards Asia’s gaming market. It is developed by Nexon Corporation with an support from licenses holder Valve Corporation. A custom version from Steam manages the game through a micropayment model. Its demo was released with great enthusiasm in Korea and proved a superb release as on the day one itself around 170,000 Counter strike lovers try their hands on localized Steam-free version. Included in other newly added features are some new maps and new weapons.

Weapons featuring in Counter Strike Online are almost same that of previous installments of Counter Strike. Assault rifles like CV47 (Ak-47), Maverick M4 carbine (M4 A1 carbine), and adding to their list are QBB-95 and K1A are listed. They have similar features like Bullpup (QBZ-95) of the previous games. Double night Hawk (Desert Eagle) is also back in the business. In a special mode, called as Zombie mode 2 weapons mentioned above appears in supply boxes. Player models are also modifies from the previous ones. Hope we’ll see some smarter CT forces and terrorist forces this time. One thing should be noted that weapons mentioned above and weapons in all of the previous installments of Counter Strike are fictionally specially modified.

Gameplay is same as like the previous ones, as complex you can say. You have to choose between a team of Counter Terrorist and Terrorists. Both of the teams are given a set of guns to choose from. Most of the guns are different, but have some similar ones too. Like the Magnum sniper and schmidt scout sniper are common for both. A wide range of side arms is also included, featuring Desert Eagle. Other than primary and secondary arms, you have to choose various equipments like body Armour and Helmet, Tactical shield, Defusal kit, Night-vision, Fragmented grenades and Flash bangs.
