Faith and a .45 is an action game with full action, developed by Deadline Games. Famous for their projects like Watchmen: The End Is Nigh and Total Overdose. Release dates are still to be announced by the Developers. The game features an awesome gameplay and interesting story. According to the current status of the game is on a hold because of the inability of the developers to find a publisher for the game. It will be released under genre of Action in single player and co-operative mode.
Game is set in the great depression, North America. Main protagonist of the game are two outlaws Luke and Ruby. There motive is to rob banks on the west cost of America. A wicked oilman wants both of them dead. Basically the gameplay of the game is similar to the gameplay of Army of Two and Gears of War. It’s a third person shooter with dual player gameplay. Gameplay of Faith and a .45 mainly focus on gunplay, co-op mechanics and taking cover. According to the developers these features of the gameplay will pace the game up. All the elements of the game seems to make game more cinematic. The boss fights will be same as going against a setup of lot of enemies or fighting against a World War tank. There will be lot of gunbattle and struggling. There will be an option of upgrading your weapons, but for upgrading your weapons you must have to complete puzzles, and search the environment around you for hidden weapons.

The game is set in great depression and is modeled like road movie genre. What is there in the game that will attract gamers is a distinctive feature, which clearly indicates a good relationship between hero Luke and his love interest Ruby. When playing on the single player mode players will take the control of Luke and Ruby will serve as the second member of the squad. When you are playing in the co-op mode second player will play as Ruby. In the single player mode you will take the control of the squad. However, it was commented by the developers that the game would have some features, which will surprise those who are expecting the game to be a normal. The two characters will show affection for each other as you play. For example in one scene it was seen that Ruby is providing cover fire for Luke in gunfight. Once they are finished and clear the area Ruby gave him a kiss as a reward.
There will be dual story mode, as the both of them will work together. Both Luke and Ruby will work together to complete missions, this is not just about giving Luke cover fire while he is running to the side of flank enemies. There will be more complex team work, as in one scene Luke grabs a gasoline can and then toss it up over the enemies and Ruby pulls out her rifle and ignite it oven the herd of enemies. A fast and clean way to clear the enemies. There will be more such multiple co-operative moves, which will not only give the game a cinematic touch, but also implies the two player story setting. It seems like main focus of the developers is on making the game more cinematic and the two player story mode. One more scene that should be included here is when Luke toss a sniper rifle to Ruby and she shots the camera will follow the bullet. Only question that arises over here why Publishers are not interested in such an innovative and different game with wonderful cinematic gameplay.
