After the huge success of Modern Warfare 2 gamers are looking forward to two other games but this time from some other genre of gaming. The games are God of War III, third and final game of the God of War series and the other game is Red Dead Redemption. Successor to the 2004 hit game Red Dead Revolver this game will be a sandbox-style action adventure western video game. Red Dead Redemption is developed by the famous Rockstar Games, the name behind blockbuster games like Grand Theft Auto series and Max Payne series. The game will be released for the platforms of Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Red Dead Redemption will be launched on May 18 and May 21 respectively for the regions of North America and PAL nations. Just like all the Rockstar games of the current generation Red Dead Redemption will run on RAGE (Rockstar Advanced Game Engine).

The game starts in year 1908 in America and John Marston a former outlaw is the main focus of the game. After a long criminal career Marston retires from crime world ans starts a new and peaceful life with his family. His peaceful life however is ends like a sweet dream when he is blackmailed by United States Government. They want his help in bringing law to certain American territories. Primary aim given to John is to kill his former gang members which even include his old friend and gang leader Bill Williamson. John is also asked to act as bounty hunter by Marshal Leigh Johnson. On his way to help US government John meets many characters, like a female rancher Bonnei McFarlane. Some local groups are tormenting her continuously. John finally cross Mexican border, where he meets a rebel Abraham Reyes. Gameplay of Red Dead Redemption will be similar to the open end gameplay of Grand Theft Auto Series.

After partying like hell for years Rabbids are tired of it and want to go home. Only trouble is that they don’t know where they come from. They have forgotten that are like ordinary rabbits living in the ground as shown in Rayman Raving Rabbids. First destination came to the Rabbids clueless mind is Moon. They need something to go to moon. Two Rabbids take the responsibility and they start building a junk to get to the moon. Rabbids Go Home will be released on Wii and Nintendo DS. The game will use LyN engine as the game engine. LyN is exclusive game engine by Ubisoft. Only other games to use LyN are Beyond Good & Evil 2 and Red Steel 2. Single player and multiplayer will be the two modes of the game. Michel Ancel is the main designer for the game. Its not far away when we can lay our hands on the notorious Rabbids, in a different way as leading them to their home moon ( as far as they thought about it).

Working ground of the movie is Pandora an alien planet and the game will include Na’vi’ native people to Pandora and discovering other life forms on the alien planet.

Ubisoft announced in July 4, 2007 that they will develop Avatar. According to the director of the movie Avatar James Cameroon, for the movie they have created a world rich in detail, character, conflict and cultural depth. The game features something which most of the modern gamers expect from the games like, rich visuals and ideas and also lot of challenges in the gameplay. James Cameroon further cleared that he asked Ubisoft to be free with the development and don’t think of this as a movie based game. Ubisoft responded with a fully realized presentation which captured the soul of the characters and world. It was announced on July 24, 2009 that Sigourney Weaver will play as Dr. Grace Augustine. Other actors from the movie who will feature in the game will be Michelle Rodriguez, Stephen Lang and Giovanni Ribisi. Ribisi will reprise his role of arrogant Parker Selfridge but only in the Wii version of the game. Col. Quaritch antagonist of the film is played Lang and Michelle Rodriguez will play Trudy Chacon chopper pilot of the main player, in the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows version. Although it is still to be confirmed whether Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana will be a part of the game or not. They will play as lead roles in the movie. James Cameroon’s Avatar: The Game will require a HDMI output and 120Hz capable set in order to benefit the 3D effects in the game. The title is named Dissidia: Final Fantasy an just like previous games of the series it is released under the genre of RPG (Role Playing Game), but what makes it different is Fighting game mixed with RPG. Dissidia: Final Fantasy is the only game in the Final Fantasy series to give you a chance to fight as a villain or a hero in single and two player modes. The game is composed Takeharu Ishimoto.

Base of Dissidia Final Fantasy is the battle between two gods. One is Cosmos — the Goddess of Harmony and the other is Chaos — God of Discord. After creating a realm from pieces of worlds, the two gods selected ten champions to wage war for eons in a an unending cycle of rebirth until the balance of power tipped in the favor of Chaos. Evil forces grew stronger and the war seems to be ending, few survived heroes band together to strike back at Chaos and restore harmony. Story of each of the hero is interlinked to each other which follows their journey to recover their respective Crystal. For example Terra deals with her amnesia and her declining her control over her powers. Clouds story concerns his indecisiveness and questioning his reason for taking part in the battle. After defeating the enemies heroes returns Cosmos, but Chaos appears and destroy goddess, later it is revealed her powers are transferred to the crystals. Once warriors defeat Chaos, they end up at Gaia and the warriors returns to their homes, only Warrior of Light remains back. In the world created by Cosmos and Chaos, Cosmos emerges as the ruler.

Both antagonist and the protagonist of the previous Final Fantasy games are united in Dissidia. Stories of the heroes and villains are narrated by Cid of the Lufaine. Storyline of the game is overarching and requires playing through all the characters to complete the game. There are twenty two playable characters in the game, eleven heroes and eleven villains. Clone is an upcoming game for Microsoft Windows by Tomkorp Computer Solutions. It will be a game is a mix of Puzzle and real time strategy genre of gaming. Clones features alien creatures which are named clones, players will order  various morph commands to the aliens or clones and they will deform their body to steer the terrain. Basics of the game are similar to 2006 hit game Lemmings, only differences will be networked multiplayer and multiple game modes. A.I. will be simple, built-in level editor and a world ranking system. In relation to the differences of the game to Lemmings developers quoted as “ Clones is to Lemmings as Unreal Tournament is to Wolfenstein.” Although the game is 2d it will make use of 3D camera to display the Clones Planet and to allow rotation and zooming of the 2D landscape. Clones will be divided in 8 different groups with identical functionality. In the single player mode players will assume the role of new CloneMaster who is visiting the Clones Planet and is on to progress on a pilgrimage to visit and learn from the ten elder CloneMasters. Each defeated Elder Master will give the player a segment of a medallion which once restored will unlock a final Elder CloneMaster. 10-20 puzzles will be offered to player from each Elder CloneMaster. Final stage will be a head to head battle against the Elder in Multiverse Match Mode. Elder Masters will encourage the player before engaging in online play, which can be very challenging and difficult. Multiplayer mode will be based in a setting of the intergalactic CloneMaster League. Players can host a tournament or instead view list of all active tournament in the universe and join if interested. Multiplayer matches will be more difficult then single player because of human being so unpredictable. Players will have an option of registering a one-on-one match with the CloneStats world ranking system which uses a chess-like method for determining a players rank.

The game will be centered on religious, philosophical, political and spiritual themes. Main part of the story are four strangers from almost four corners of the world. All the fours strangers are connected to each other by a vision they are receiving from evil, which leads them to each other. In search of truth they found a far larger and more disturbing truths totally unexpected. There quest is leads them to layers of global technological conspiracy. At every depth their own torturing souls reveal shocking truth binds which binds them together. The vision they are receiving varies only a red cat’s eye is common. All of the four characters faint after seeing the Red eye and they fall into a temporary coma. The Eye is a red circle and may people mistake it to be a Eye of Sauron.

Red Steel 2 an upcoming game under the development of Ubisoft Paris. Red Steel 2 is a direct sequel to the 2006 game Red Steel. Just like its sequel Red Steel 2 is a game from First person shooter, where player can use gun and a katana sword alternatively. The game is designed to be played on Nintendo Wii. Red Steel 2 will be published by Ubisoft. Releases dates are not sure but the game may release early in the year 2010. Only playable mode in the game will be single player. Red Steel 2 will use a special game engine developed by Ubisoft known as LyN engine. LyN is designed to act effectively on both old and next generation equally. Other games to use LyN engine are Rabbids Go Home and Beyond Good & Evil 2. LyN specially suits Wii as it helps in maximizing graphic capabilities without limiting the imaginations of the developers using it. In April Ubisoft revealed in a press release that game’s story is based in a high tech, desert bound metropolis. The Swordsman is the name if the main protagonist of the game. He will be a silent character and a member of a clan called “The Protectors”. According to a prequel in the game all the members of the group were killed while saving The Swordsman. As the last surviving Protector, The Swordsman sets off on a revenge for his fallen clan.

Red Steel’s development started in summer of 2008 and on July 28 the same year existence of Red Steel 2 was confirmed by Alain Corre, executive director of Ubisoft. Red Steel will also use Nintendo’s new accessory Wii MotionPlus. It is said by the developers that Wii motion plus create a strong single player experience. Multiplayer was not considered as the part of the game, because Ubisoft believed it would distract player from enjoying the single player in Wii gameplay. Instead of using more realistic graphics, Red Steel will use stylized cel-shaded graphics. Visuals are styled like XIII Ubisoft’s own game released in the year 2003. As the game will release on the family console Wii, it will not include bloodshed in the game. Ubisoft is aiming for ‘T’ rating for Red Steel 2. Red Steel 2 will be played in the First person shooter perspective just like Red Steel. Player can alternate between sword fighting and shooting. At their disposal players will have both gun and katana and they can switch them at any point. As you will progress further in the game you will receive new abilities and weapons, which you can either earn or purchase.
