G.I. JOE: The Rise of Cobra is an upcoming game adapted from an upcoming film of the same name. The game will be released as a sequel to the movie. The game is developed by two different companies, for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 developers are Double Helix Games and for Wii, PSP, PlayStation 2, and DS will be developed by Fall Line Studios. G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra will be published by largest Third party publisher of the world Electronic Arts. It will be released foe all the gaming platforms, except Microsoft Windows. Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Wii, Xbox 360, Mobile phone are the platforms the game would be released on. Release dates are not confirmed but it will be released by summer 2009. Various game input methods will be available for the game like Gamepad, stylus, Wii Remote. Genre of the game would be action.

G.I. JOE: The Rise of Cobra will feature an exclusive storyline. Story of the game continues from where the movie ends. Thus giving players a chance to re-create the greatest moments from the movie, action figures and cartoon series. There are total twelve G.I. JOE figures included in the game. Each of the Character is unique abilities and weapons. Taking your fun and enjoyment to the seventh level there is an intense single-screen co-op mode allowing two players to easily unite as a team. Playing as a team, you have to face a classic battle of struggle between good and evil. In the game, whenever the player gets access to the Accelerator Armor it is being used as invulnerability power-up gain. The famous “Yo Joe!” battle cry is used whenever the player uses power up. The power up allows players to be undamaged when they attack Cobra troops and vehicles.
