Guitar Hero 5 is the fifth installment in the most famous music video game genre. Just like all the previous games of the Guitar Hero series, Activision will publish it along with RedOctane. Guitar Hero will be developed by three different developers for different consoles. Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version will be developed by Neversoft, Wii version is developed by Vicarious Visions and the PlayStation 2 version is under the development of Budcat Creation. Following the previous title Guitar Hero World Tour will include the feature of four-person band experience. Band will include lead and bass guitar, vocals and drums. There are other features added to Guitar Hero 5 from Guitar Hero World Tour. The game will release on platforms of PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Xbox 360 and Wii. According to the developers, Guitar Hero 5 will be release on September 1. 2009 under the genre of Music video game. Two modes selected for the game are single and multiplayer.
Guitar Hero will feature a gameplay, very much similar to Guitar Hero World Tour. One of the major differences in the gameplay will be the four player’s combination for different instruments, including multiples of the same type. Star Power is omitted, instead it will be tracked for each player just like Rock Band. “Band Moment” a new mechanic will ask all the band members to play sections of a song successfully to gain rewards, both in the visual and the scoring effects on the screen. If a player fails out of the song, The Band Revival meter will appear. Now in order to bring back the failed player back in the game other band members have to play individually as well as in a group together. In the Career mode of the game the player can play any of the World Tour DLC. Bonus Challenges will reward the player with unlockable content when they are finished. One such bonus challenge is scoring a number of points while in Star Power.

“Party Play” and “RockFest” are the new features announced for the game. “RockFest” will allow four players locally and eight online to play several sub-modes that influenced how to play the game. For example in one of the RockFest sub-mode “Elimination” will drop the nastiest player periodically. Momentum is the other sub-mode for RockFest in which game will adjust the difficulty of the track based on how well player is playing, more points rewarded if you will stay at the “Expert” difficulty level. “Do-or-Die” will ask or better say force players to wait a brief time if hey miss a note. “Streakers” rewards the player for long strings of consecutive notes. In “Perfectionist” mode, only certain sections of a song count towards points. The Music Studio feature in which players create their own songs and distribute them through the “GHTunes” music, is also improved.
Guitar Hero 5 was announced as fifth game in the Guitar Hero series in December 2008. Later the game was confirmed by the end of 2009 along with other titles of Guitar Hero series. The Party Play mode was inspired from the fact that past Guitar Hero games made it difficult to jump in without directing through a number of menus and selection screens. Basically the mode was designed to be used at social gatherings, it was adopted to use any controller players already had available. Like this various combinations, other then the standard four-person band was allowed. Guitar Hero will include around 83 artists and 85 tracks. “Under Pressure” by Queen and David Bowie was the one song always wanted by the developers, it will feature this time in Guitar Hero 5. Some of the famous bands, from whom all the songs are adopted will include bands like 3 Doors Down, Queen, Megadeth, Queens of the Stone Age, Nirvana and many more. Wait for few days and start rocking the world again. Guitar Hero gives you a chance to play the tracks you always worshipped.
