Madden NFL 10

Best selling sports game and series with over 70 million copies sold Madden NFL is one of the best known game in the gaming world. Latest installment in this world class sports series is Madden NFL 10. Just like every previous game of the series Madden NFL 10 will be published by EA Sports. The game is developed by EA Tiburon, it is EA’s Madrid based studio. Since the release of first game of this great sports franchise till today its has been released nearly for every gaming platform. Madden NFL 10 will be 21st annual installment in the Madden NFL video game franchise. This time EA had made some recognizable changes in the gameplay.
Madden NFL 10 will be released for almost every gaming platform. This includes Nintendo DS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 2, iPhone OS, Xbox 360 and Wii. Other than these platforms it will also be released for many mobile devices. The Wii version will be released under the title of Madden NFL 10 All-Play and will be launched under the EA Sports’ new All-Play brand exclusive to the Wii. The Wii version will take a different approach to the game taking advantage of the motion controls. Use of motion control will give Madden NFL 10 a completely different look. Madden NFL 10 runs on a self engine and will be released under the genre of American Football simulation. Scheduled release date for the game is August 14, 2009.

This is the only second time a player is featured on both of the covers of NCAA Football and Madden NFL. The other one was Shaun Alexander. The two athletes to be featuring on the cove will be Larry Fitzgerald of Arizona Cardinals and the other one being Troy Polamalu of Pittsburgh Steelers. Announcements for the cover athletes were made on April 24, 2009 after Adrian Peterson turned down the offer. In the 21 long history of Madden NFL this is the second time two player will be featured on the same cover.
Madden NFL 10 has gone undergone many changes this time. Some of them are listed below:
New Ratings Philosophy – for more noticeable difference between players.
Procedural Awareness - a system which allows player to follow the ball using head, neck, shoulders more realistically.
WR/DB Interaction – new man coverage and improved route running, new WR/DB jostling.
Sim Style Gameplay - more realistic pass speeds with new game speed slider.
Depth of Field - new systems which will improve the visual quality of the game as well as allow a broadcast experience never seen before.
Quarterback Improvements – More realistic QB drop animations and new QB ratings.
Player Momentum – planting and turn rates with more realistic movement of the player.
New Creation Features – all brand new accessories like handwarmers, arm bands, realistic gloves and QB towels.
Addition of the Wildcat offense – players are now allowed to run wild cast offense.
