Racing gaming genre evolved a great way, from traditional circuit racing in the earliest games to drift and drag racing of modern times. As the meter builds up special events will be triggered and they will further create obstacles in the race. Not just obstacles these special events can alter the race course entirely and create shortcuts. In order to stop the player from wining the race these triggers can also be used by AI opponents. These events can include airplane crashes, building collapse and huge explosions. Frequency of the trigger will depend on how full players meter is. Even if only one bar is full from three bars on HUD first level of events will be available and the most extreme events will be available only when the three bars are filled. Difficult y of the races will very greatly, first level races will be extremely easy to play and the races on the other end will be extremely difficult to play.

Vehicles, and locations that will affect the gameplay will be highlighted with a blue glow and the player must time action accurately in order to hamper the opponents to the extreme level. Once an event is triggered the powerplay meter will reset itself. Now the decision will be on players whether to choose the less affective first level, which will be available as soon as the meter resets itself or they can save powerplay points for longer and build them further to use the top tier actions. There will be several powerplays that can be used in the next level like the bombs dropped from the police helicopters. Opposite to this there will be few powerplays which never will reset unless and until you quit the race or restart it. To make the HUD as simple as possible Black Rock Studio removed many unwanted items from the HUD like Speedometer, Map e.t.c. Only elements on the HUD will be powerplay meter (most important of all), lap and position of the player in the race. Using the reality TV shows premise the game is broken in 24 episodes and one episode will have three races each. Multiplayer mode of the game will have online and offline versions.

Salvation is an upcoming game by Black Wing Foundation and N-Game Studios. Not to confuse with the name Salvation has nothing to do with Terminator: Salvation, a game and a movie released this summer. Salvation will be an action game played from third person shooter perspective. The game will release for the consoles of Microsoft Windows and Xbox 360. No released dates are confirmed by the developers, only info. on the release date is that it may release in the end of the year 2009. Main concern for the developers of the game is publisher, which is yet to be signed. Valve Corporation’s Source engine is used as the game engine. Salvation will have single and multiplayer as the two playing modes, co-operative multiplay mode is also expected. Genre for the game will be action game played in third person shooter perspective. Subject for the game is different and strange and have to do something with communication with god.

The game starts with a devastating plane crash in the Amazon rain forest. The plane is said to be carrying top secret data. Jumpgate Evolution or more commonly known as JGE is a game from the genre of massively multiplayer online game (MMOPG). Jumpgate Evolution is a direct sequel to the 2001 video game Jumpgate: The Reconstruction Initiative. Protagonist of the game is a war veteran for the Bosnian War and an illegal immigrant and his name is Niko Bellic. Only after killing Mikhail, Niko learns that Dimitri also ordered his men to kill Niko once he finishes job. Niko escapes with the help of Little Jacob an arms dealer he befriended earlier. Niko and his cousin Roman flees to some other part of the city. Niko desperate for money works for several other gangs, including Playboy X’s gang, McReary Irish Mob, Pegorino Crime Family. While working as a gangster Niko finally finds Florian only to discover that Florian is not the one who betrayed him. Darko Brevic is revealed to be the person who betrayed Niko in the Bosnian War. Niko earlier worked for an undercover agency and in return, they locates Darko in Bosnia and brings him to Liberty City as a Final reward to Niko. Niko finds that Darko has become a drug-addicted, guilt-ridden wreck. Now Niko is left with two choices either to kill Darko or leave him. Niko is called by a mob boss Jimmy Pegorino to obtain a shipment of drugs for him to be sold to a buyer: Dimitri Rascalov.

To give the game a twist and make the ending more classic players are left with two options Revenge or Deal. The game will end how the players want it to be. If the player choose revenge then Niko ambushed Dimitri on the tanker and after a long gunfight he kills Dimitri. Furious after the betrayal Jimmy Pegorino attacks Roman’s wedding and Niko’s girlfriend is killed. Niko tries to kill Pegorino but he escapes using a boat to the Happiness Island. Niko follows him in helicopter and finally kills Jimmy Pegorino. Now of the layer chooses to play the game in Deal then Niko makes the drug deal silently. But Dimitri disrupts his part of the deal Niko still retrieves money and drugs. Pegorino calls Niko to congratulate him and reveals that he is now befriended with Dimitri. A killer send by Dimitri to kill Niko unintentionally shoots and kills Roman during a struggle. Confounded Niko follows Pegorino and Dimitri and kills them both. Grand Theft is the best ever game in the history of gaming, both commercially and critically. It sold more than 3.6 million copies in single day making almost $310 million in revenue. GTA IV broke the pervious record, which was hold by Halo 3. Grand Theft Auto IV scored an awesome score of 10/10 on nearly every game ranking website and magazine.

Last game from Arkane Studios Dark Messiah of Might and Magic was well received by the critics and it went for some good business. It was the only game released by the developers so far. After the gap of five years Arkane Studios is back with a new game known as The Crossing. Valve Corporation is providing support to Arkane Studios in the development of the game. The Crossing will make use of the Source engine so the Valve Corporation. The Crossing will be played from the First person perspective. Fusion of the single and the multiplay gameplay will be the best part of the game. The fusion is coined as Crossplayer by the developers. No release dates are confirmed by the developers. Once release the game will be available on Steam for download. As of May 15^th 2009 The Crossings is considered “On Hold”. This announcement was made by CEO and creative director of Arkane Studios Raphael Colantonio. Later he also announced that the development of the game had been put on hold because of some unanticipated financial challenges.

The game add in the idea of parallel universes. It will be set across two completely different version’s of modern day Paris. The first one universe shares many similarities visually to the Modern day Paris. The city is fell into chaos after the collapse of the governing body. Second universe is based in the year 1307, here instead of being scattering the Knights Templar are controlling the French town. The story will swap amid the two universe continuously. Gameplay of the game is a fusion of the single and the multiplayer mode. External players will be allowed to play as enemies in the single player mode. Valve Corporations name behind some of the best gaming experience like Half Life, Counter Strike, Team Fortress and unlimited modifications of these games. Some of the best gaming engines like Source are also developed by Valve Corporations. Nuclear Dawn an upcoming game is the answer to the fantasies of the gamers. Set in the post-apocalyptic world Nuclear Dawn is developed by Dutch video game developers InterWave Studious. Until now the developers has announced that the game will release only on Microsoft Windows. However, as the time advances we may hear about the development of the game on other famous versions like Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. PC version of the game will be distributed by Valve Corporation. First announcement for the game dates back to February 2006. That time Nuclear Dawn was set to be an amateur mod for the Source engine like may other games. Later in April 2009 it was revealed that the game is now a commercial project, but it will still use the Source engine as the game engine and will be aimed for the PC users.

So he will play the game in the RTS settings, rest of the team will play in the typical FPS settings. There will be there classes in the game to choose from. Each of them will have their own weaknesses and interdependent strengths that will support collaborative tactics, intelligent strategy and cooperative teamwork. You can choose weapons from a huge arsenal. It will include almost every kind of modern day weapons like snipers, assault rifles, miniguns, shotguns and explosives. Environments of the game will be perfect for the bloody battles. Detailing of the game is extremely high. Some of the fighting environment will include Russian nuclear installment, abandoned Japanese city and may such post-apocalyptic sites. Other than traditional fighting with the opponents you can also engage them in the battle for the hidden treasures. They will have importance, as money will be a big factor in the nearly destroyed world.

Playing as a commander will complete the RTS part of the game. The commander play will be an objective-based gameplay and will stress on coordinating tactics. You will be tasked to construct strategies according to the situation. Strategies for the objectives will include creating defensive points and chokepoints. Other than leading the soldiers the commander will be assigned with the job of expanding your territory using well-placed structures that will help your team in the battles. Structures will include bunkers, turrets and barracks. The commander can also unlock new technologies to turn the battle in your favor. Securing resources will also be assigned to commander. Development of the game is going on a war level. However it was not the same as the game suffered a prolonged development cycle and many media sites criticized the game calling it a vaporware.
