
Puchi Puchi Virus is upcoming game for Nintendo DS. It is under development of not so famous California based company Nippon Ichi in association with KeysFactory. The game will be published by Jaleco in Japan and for America, its NIS. Genre of the game is Puzzle video game and it will be available in 1 or 2 player modes. Media release for the game will be in the form of Nintendo DS Game Card.
Story of the game starts on a planet, which looks like Earth. It is affected by a deadly viral outbreak. Whoever is infected turns into a weird monster. These infected monsters have got pun for names, like Flying Panduh, a Panda with a jetpack, a frying pan and with dislike to country music. The outbreak is worsened by everyday, Doctor Kevin and his two assistants decide to fight the disease. There only hope is their newly invented vaccine, made up of pure awesome.

Main characters of the game are:
Dr. Kevin – he is the main character of the game and serves as the protagonist of the game. He is a genius and spends most of his time working in his lab. He is very kind, noble and weird. His company includes a hottie and a chicken.
Honeydew – She is hot, smart and quiet most important of all she is Kevin’s Assistant. She is speaks her mind if she thinks it’s important. She loves to cook even tough she is bad at it.
George the Chicken – he is the third and most ridiculous character of the Kevin’s group. George claims she is a girl, but nobody believes him. Kevin and Honeydew even suspect she might be infected with the Puchirus.
Main Feature of the gameplay is to link geometric viruses together to erase them before they turn into stones. You have to create links by linking three viruses together into a triangle; and then ‘popping’ this triangle to remove the viruses. If you overlap two triangles and then pop the first triangle created, you will be able to create Combos. Puchi Puchi Virus features whooping 102 levels within the game. Each level will have different objective like a certain number of combos, a certain score, etc within a limit of time.
