Red Dead Redemption

After the huge success of Modern Warfare 2 gamers are looking forward to two other games but this time from some other genre of gaming. The games are God of War III, third and final game of the God of War series and the other game is Red Dead Redemption. Successor to the 2004 hit game Red Dead Revolver this game will be a sandbox-style action adventure western video game. Red Dead Redemption is developed by the famous Rockstar Games, the name behind blockbuster games like Grand Theft Auto series and Max Payne series. The game will be released for the platforms of Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Red Dead Redemption will be launched on May 18 and May 21 respectively for the regions of North America and PAL nations. Just like all the Rockstar games of the current generation Red Dead Redemption will run on RAGE (Rockstar Advanced Game Engine).

The game starts in year 1908 in America and John Marston a former outlaw is the main focus of the game. After a long criminal career Marston retires from crime world ans starts a new and peaceful life with his family. His peaceful life however is ends like a sweet dream when he is blackmailed by United States Government. They want his help in bringing law to certain American territories. Primary aim given to John is to kill his former gang members which even include his old friend and gang leader Bill Williamson. John is also asked to act as bounty hunter by Marshal Leigh Johnson. On his way to help US government John meets many characters, like a female rancher Bonnei McFarlane. Some local groups are tormenting her continuously. John finally cross Mexican border, where he meets a rebel Abraham Reyes. Gameplay of Red Dead Redemption will be similar to the open end gameplay of Grand Theft Auto Series.
