It will have ten gameplay modes. On-the-fly cooperative mode will support four players within campaign is supported. Anyone is allowed to join or leave an existing campaign game at any time and he doesn’t have to go to menus or save progress.
Competitive multiplayer maps consist of three tiles. Each team votes on the tile they start on, before starting of the match. The middle tile is chosen randomly. This will make map more unpredictable and also decrease “map fatigue.” In map fatigue players memorize a map and rush top certain spots again and again. The tiling system of Rogue Warrior allows over 200 maps combination in both day and night settings. The choice will be on the style players prefer. For example a team composed of snipers will prefer an urban high-rise tile so as to have plenty of snipers nest or in grassland tile for longer sight lines. On the other hand who prefers close combats might choose a forested or rocky tile to cover and advance. For now developers are practicing some of the following game types:
- TDM – Team Deathmatch
- CTF – Capture the Flag
- DM – Deatchmatch
- VIP – only one VIP is allow to capture the points
