Shellshock 2: Blood Trails is one of the most talkative game of 2009. It’s a first person shooter (FPS) video game. It is developed by Rebellion Development. They are famous for games like Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six, PGA tour, e.t.c. Publisher for Shellshock 2 are Eidos Interactive one of the largest publishers of the world. Shellshock 2 will be released for all the three major gaming platforms as Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Windows. It is the sequel to Shellshock: Nam ’67, developed by Guerilla Games and published by Eidos in 2004. It was released on 13th February 2009.
War is more then hell and Shellshock 2 delivers you the deepest of the hell. It’s the second brutal and twisted psychological first person shooter experience. At the peak of the Vietnam War, a covert plane carrying a top-secret consignment is lost over the deep and undiscovered jungles. The secret project is known as ‘WhitKnight’. Special tropes are sent to retrieve the secret shipment and one-by-one they are disappeared without a trace. But few month later one of them shows up. He is crazy and deranged, something has ripped out his humanity and his soul is dead. There is something in the darkness that had driven him mad and it followed him out. Taking the first person shooter view this war game delivers you the joint effect of war and survival horror. Shellshock 2 places you in a different war where fear takes on whole new meaning.
Shellshock 2: Blood Trails is a zombie-like horror influenced first-person shooter game. It is set in the Vietnam War. What makes it different from other war games is the war mixed with survival horror. The plot revolves around the lost member of the special ops team. The gameplay is unique and depends heavily on mood and foreshadowing.
The game is released on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. The system requirements for Windows XP are:
