We all know who is Tony Hawk, he is the biggest name in the game of Skating. His charm is so big that he has an entire game series based on him. There are total nine games in the series and a tenth game is under development. Last game of the series, Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground was released in the year 2008. Upcoming Tenth game for the series will be known by three names they are Tony Hawk: Ride, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 10, and Tony Hawk’s Adrenaline. It will be released for the platforms of Xbox 360, Wii and PlayStation 3. Development of the game is shifted to Robomodo from Neversoft. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions are developed by Robomodo and the Wii version is developed by Buzz Monkey. Tony Hawk: Ride will continue the genre of extreme sports and will be published by industry giants Activision. All the previous games of the series were proved successful both critically and commercially. Fans are expecting the same result from Tony Hawk: Ride.

Nothing is revealed or announced by the developers officially about the plot of the game. What everybody is expecting a lot of skaters in the game. confirmed skaters for the game are Tony Hawk, Mike Mo Capaldi, Lyn-Z Adams Hawkins, Bam Margera, Mike Vallely, Nyjah Huston, Ryan Sheckler, and Christian Hosoi. All these skaters previously featured on the previous games of the franchise. Tony Hawk: Ride will be revolutionary in many ways as if players will use a new kind of skateboard peripherals. These peripherals will help to give riding a new and exciting real life gameplay. The peripheral is special and will be shaped like a real skateboard. It will be equipped with infrared sensors that will detect and display on the scenes. All of your actions will be displayed on the screen. To increase the reality some other actions are also included in the game, like tuning, hopping and leaning.

Activision announced in February 2008 that the game is under development and is in the testing phase. Another announcement explained that the game is re-engineered for the franchise and the game will be a new direction for the brand. Later in May Activision added that the game would bring the so much needed breakthrough to the series. Release dates were also postponed to fiscal year 2010. Most exciting part of the game sensing balance board peripheral was announced on December 3, 2008. Now the publishers were asking the players to put down the remote, step on the board and feel the sensation of get going. In order to enjoy the peripheral shift your weight to turn and balance grinds. The change of name was announced on GameTrailers on May 15, 2009. It was announced that the game would be called Tony Hawk: Adrenaline from Tony Hawk: Ride. Another announcement was made on GameStop about the price and the releasing date of the game telling that game will release on October 13, 2009. However, both of the above announcements are still not confirmed by the developers.

Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time or Ratchet & Clank: A Crack as it known in most of the regions. An upcoming game under the development of Insomniac Games, one who are famous the Resistance series. The game will be published by Sony Computer Entertainment. It will be an installment in the Ratchet and Clank series and sequel to the Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction and Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty. The game will be released under the genre of platforms-shooter and adventure. Ratchet and Clank is scheduled to release in 3^rd or 4^th quarter of year 2009 on PlayStation 3. The game will use Insomniac Engine v.4.0.

As it is direct sequel to Quest for Booty, story if the games continues from where Quest for Booty ends. It will follow Ratchet continuing his search for Clank, he was kidnapped by some mysterious Zoni. All these events took place in Tools of Destruction. On the other hand Clank is searching for Ratchet, having apparently escaped the hands of Zoni. Doctor Nefarious, who served as main antagonist of Up Your Arsenal has been revealed to have masterminded Clank’s disappearance. He will be the main villain of the game.

The title of the game along with logo and trailer all three were revealed at the 2009 Game Developers Conference. Trailer was the main attraction at the conference, narration of time and a new character called as Lombax Character. Appearance of this Lombax is gray and silver hairs and red fur as opposed to Ratchets brown and tan coloration. He shown holding a watch which contains an image of himself with a Lombax who looks like Ratchet. Fans have wondering the new character as that he may be Ratchet’s Father or some elder from the ancient Lombax city on Fastoon, Which Ratchet saw in Tools of Destruction. At the GameTrailers pre-E3 2009 special it was announced that the new character is named General Alistar Azimuth. Generals’ name relates him to the Court of Azimuth level in Tools of Destruction. Later on PlayStation blog it was announced that a contest for designing weapons is running till April 10 and the wining design will feature in the game as usable weapon. Other than that a real life replica being made for the winner and he will be awarded a trip top Comic-Con for weapons public unveiling. Scheduled to release on December 2, 2009 action figures were also announced.
