Another game with such fusion is Nuclear Dawn, under the development of Valve Corporation. One major difference between the two games is that Nuclear Dawn also fuse Survival horror with FPS and RTS.

The game starts with a devastating plane crash in the Amazon rain forest. The plane is said to be carrying top secret data. The top secret is dangerous and if it is captured by the enemies millions of lives will be in danger. A group of mercenaries are called for this dangerous job of rescuing any survivors and retrieving the top secret. This team is expert in these kind of missions. They set out to the field but the fate is against the team and their pane is shot down on route. After the smoke clears the team learns that there are only eight members left and rest of all dead in the crash. Now the team has three targets, rescue, retrieve and survive. The plot of the game follows there search for the targets and the adventures through the most dangerous jungle of the world with most dangerous enemies.  First they try to complete the assigned mission as planned and later they switch to survival as an civil war breaks out between two factions in the jungle.

Gameplay as told is a fusion of RTS and FPS, you will be free to use any of them. You can play the game in zoomed in classic RTS overhead view or in typical First person view. RTS overhead view is a provided through a group of satellites positioned overhead (Geo-stationary orbit). You can get an 3D view of your surroundings with the help of the satellites. When you zoomed out the view you will be able to control two squads individually with four members each. Two squads will be expert in two distinct combats. One is an in infiltrator and members of the group prefers long range attacks. Other group is an assault squad and they are perfect for close combat. In the infiltrator mode you will have an advantage of far view. This will help you to get an advance view of what lies ahead and using this you can jump on enemies camped out behind buildings or around the corners. Playing in both the views is not compulsory and one can play the whole game ion FPS. At any point of time you can switch to and from the two views. Trine is a downloadable game on PlayStation Network and Microsoft Windows. Trine will help Sony Computer Entertainment to compete with Microsoft’s Xbox Live Arcade. It was developed by Finnish company Froznebyte. The PC version of Trine was released on July 3, 2009. The PSN version for PlayStation 3 will be launched a month later. The game is published by two different publishers in two different zones of the world. Nobilis will publish the game worldwide except American mainland which will be covered by SouthPeak Interactive. Ari Pulkkinen the famous game composer who did it for games like StarFight VI and Shadowgrounds has composed for the game. Trine will be a Puzzle and Platform game with single and multiplayer modes. Rumors about a XBLA version of the game being developed by Atlus are hitting the market. If anything like this happen, it will be a big setback for Sony Entertainment.

Trine is an action platform and puzzle game. Players will control different characters and they will try to complete various levels. To make the game more interactive levels and characters will have full physical interaction. Three main characters of the game are a thief (a ranged fighter), a wizard (a non-combat character who conjures different objects) and a knight (melee fighter). After releasing some fantastic horror games like F.E.A.R. TimeGate is releasing a game from the genre of Futuristic First Person Shooter. Title of the game will be Section 8. The game will be published by SouthPeak Interactive. Section 8 is designed by Brett Norton. Scheduled date for the game is August 28, 2009. The game utilizes Unreal Engine 3 as the game engine. It is scaled to release on the platforms of Microsoft Windows and Xbox 360. One of the notable feature of the game is that it allows players to dynamically change the flow combat according to their choice. For example, they can occupy tactical assets and Call for on demand vehicle deliveries. There will be two modes in the game single player and multiplayer. Soon after the release of the game, you may see releases of co-operative mode as the third mode.

The character that you will portray in the single-player campaign mode of the game will be a member of 8th Armored Infantry named Alex Corde. Single-player campaign will be objective based. Objective of the player will reveal the motivation of ARM of Orion and Alex Corde. Indications of the above settings can be clearly seen in the released preview of the game. Character customizations of the game are in full detail. Choice of weapons is completely a matter of choice. They will be dropped from orbital dropships flying at a height of more than 15,000 feet from the surface. To avoid being hit by these guns, there will be a feature called “air-brake”, it will allow player to make some mid-air adjustments. Section 8 will feature a vast and large scale multiplayer mode. There will be 16 players confirmed so far for the Xbox 360 version. Xbox 360 still has a goal of 24 to 32 players. Online player for the PC version will be 54, so far only 32 are confirmed. To fill the remaining slots on multiplayer bots will be used.

The term “Section 8” is derived from an old United States military discharge regulation, if the person is mentally unfit for the service and is related to the 8the Armored Infantry in the game. This nickname evolved from the near-suicidal missions the 8th Armored Infantry went on, and thus labeled as insane by other military units. The game starts in near future and human race has discovered interstellar travel. Using this technology they colonized across the galaxy. When the game start a group called ARM of Orion start to become disconnect the outermost planets from the main governing body and taking them over while keeping their presence hidden from the government. ARM is able to do that because of the reason that traveling in space is slow and it takes weeks to communicate with the frontier world. Government soon realize about the ambush being planned against them and sends 8th Armored Infantry with Alex Corde on a mission on a mission to inspect ARM of Orion and if the situation grows wrong then fight and stop ARM of Orion. Wait till August 28, to enjoy the future and travel in space. Many experts are expecting Section 8 to be a new chapter in the world of Futuristic universe based games.
