Marvel vs. Capcom is a series of fighting games. This series is famous for its exclusive mixing of two giants of comic world. Marvel as we all know is the name behind some of the best known super heroes of the Modern times. Capcom is one of the largest video game developers and publishers. Upcoming title for the series, Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes will be the fourth and the final game of the series. Capcom simplified the engine used in the game in order to make game more accessible to casual players and to bring new players to the fanbase. Some of the changes are made in the gameplay, like air combo system is modified and the button configuration is now reduced to 4 main buttons and 2 assist buttons. For the first time in the series NAOMI system will used, which is mostly used for the 3-D games. Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes will be developed by different developers for different platforms. PlayStation 2 and Xbox version is developed by Capcom itself. More modified version for the seventh generation gaming platforms i.e. Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 is under the development of Backbone Entertainment. The game will release on July 2, 2009.

It is clear that Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes will be different from the series, as it will have different button system and different 3-D system. One more difference is the ending of the game. It will be the first game of the series without character specific endings. Ending of the game will not be affected by the character you will use to play and how fast you end the game. The game will see Earth dying and the efforts of Ruby Hearts to save the earth. In order to save the earth Ruby Heart has to find the Source of evil, who is known as Abyss, the Armor of Erosion. She orders best heroes of her airship and find the Abyss. Later on Heroes come to know the source of power to Abyss is a black metal ball within the centre. In the end it is discovered that the sphere can be destroyed if given a massive crack in it. In the end Ruby is holding it in her hand and then throws it in the water, letting it sink to the bottom. However, one thing not cleared is that whether abyss will return or not. Heroes finally rejoice as they sail back off into the distance.

With some modifications basic parts of the game are same. Players select three players from the roster of Capcom and Marvel characters. Fight is one-on-one and continues until one of the team is left without any players. At least one combo is given to each player & each team will have a common super meter. At a minimum cost of one super meter each level character can perform their supper moves or super combos. Except the screen which is now wider, all the other controls are same as the previous games. One thing you should remember is that Marvel vs. Capcom derives it controls from Street Fighter games. Major difference in the controls of the game is that instead of three kick/punch attack strength, there are only two and the last two buttons are replaced by assist buttons. A weak attack can result in two different attacks. Second one being a medium attack. Marvel vs. Capcom 2 will feature the ability to Force an opponent’s teammate into the fight with a move which is commonly known as “snapback.” To perform a snapback one requires a full super meter. Snapback will start and the player will flash for a moment and so normal attack which attack will knock out the opponent. All the characters from previous games of the series are included in the game with some new players also added. This great battle of Heroes is waiting for you. Soul series is a fighting game series, but slightly different from other fighting game series like Tekken, Street fighter and Mortal Kombat. The game will be developed by Namco’s Project Soul team and published by Namco Bandai. Fist announcements for then game were made by Namco Bandai on April 28, 2009. The famous feature of the series character customization will be there in the game. Confirm release date for the game is September 30, 2009. Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny will have both single and multiplayer modes. According to the developers one of the main goal of the game is to “target novice players and beginners with Soulcaliber IV features”

Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny will include more than 30 characters. This list of thirty characters is still to be revealed. Although Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny is based on the features of Soulcaliber IV it will lack Star Wars guest characters. The new gust character will be Kratos from the famous God of War series developed and published Sony. All the announcements for the new character were made 2009 Electronic Entertainment Expo. The game is highly awaited in the fans of Soul series and specially for the PSP users as the games on the PSP are limited. The game is loaded with some awesome features like head-to-head multiplayer mode, some most exciting visual and challenging and tough single player modes. In Flock all you to do is take control of a UFO that has to herd all of the animals in a level of Mothership, solving brutal puzzles and causing mayhem along the way.
