Broken Saints is an upcoming games by casual game developers Gnosis Games, a Canadian company famous for there casual games for the social networking sites like Facebook, Bebo and MySpace. Gnosis Games enjoyed a lot of success in casual games they are entering the world of serious gamers with this new game. Broken Saints will be an action adventure game, played from third person perspective. Only single player mode is confirmed so far and multiplayer is said to be under development. Broken Saints will be released in two main entries. First entry will be for the all the seventh generation consoles as PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii. Second Entry is for all the handheld consoles like PSP (PlayStation Portable) and Nintendo DS. However both the entries will be same and will utilize same artistic style that is found in the animated comics. Story of the game will be similar to Broken Saints a flash animated film series released in the year 2001, which won many awards round the globe.

The game will be centered on religious, philosophical, political and spiritual themes. Main part of the story are four strangers from almost four corners of the world. All the fours strangers are connected to each other by a vision they are receiving from evil, which leads them to each other. In search of truth they found a far larger and more disturbing truths totally unexpected. There quest is leads them to layers of global technological conspiracy. At every depth their own torturing souls reveal shocking truth binds which binds them together. The vision they are receiving varies only a red cat’s eye is common. All of the four characters faint after seeing the Red eye and they fall into a temporary coma. The Eye is a red circle and may people mistake it to be a Eye of Sauron.

Four main characters will include Kamimura a Buddhist monk, Raimi Matthews a non-practicing catholic living in a fictional Coast City. Through an electronic code he learns about a project of his company, the project is about bringing four strangers together. Oran Bajir is Muslim devout from Iraq. He guarding a small bunker and reading holy book of Islam, later on he starts doubting his mission. Shandala Nisinu is the fourth character he is a mysterious orphan from Fijan islandof Japan. Other then these four main characters there are many small characters as well which will play important role in destiny of the four bind to each other. Our four main characters will use their special gifts to explore lush landscapes, terrifying dreamscapes and chilling web techno-spiritual conspiracy, which can change the whole world.

Overlord II is a direct sequel to the 2007 game Overlord. Overlord II will be a third person action-adventure game. The game is developed by Triumph Studios, and will be published by Codemasters, oldest gaming developers of United Kingdom. Overlord II will be released on the platforms of Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Just like Overlord, this game is also written by the famous Computer games scriptwriter Rhianna Pratchett. Release dates are confirmed by the developers are June 23, 2009 for North America and June 26 for Europe. The game events follows that of the previous Overlord title. Players will take control of the role of previous overlord’s son who is known as Overlad. He was shown in the end of the Overlord: Raising Hell. Then an infant he has been smuggled to the frozen mountain lands known as Nordberg from a Roman-inspired civilization, which is currently known as ‘Glorious Empire’. This kingdom wants to eliminate all magical creatures. There will be other races in the game like Elves who are environmental activist and are motivated by nature. Gnomes are shown as Thieves in the game. Including these races with such qualities will give the game other elements beside fantasy such as environmental issues, politics and several other real-world problems to be parodied within the game.

Lennart Sas, who is director and Overlord lead at Triumph Studios, stated that Overlord II increases the scope of the original concept massively. Environment of the game is designed to allow more diversity. New locations confirmed for the game so far are “Nordberg” translated from various Germanic languages as North Mountain. Other locations is a Magic Sanctuary Domain and the cities and territories of Glorious empire are cited as new locations. Basic gameplay of the series in which player will control the Overlord and he will issue orders to his minions to do most of his work. This will continue in Overlord II but with greatly expanded limits. Minions will be more dangerous, intelligent and destructible. New AI in the game can do more things than the previous one. He will be able to ‘riding mounts, sailing ships and using war ships’. Controls and visuals are also improved, according to Sas these enhancements are made in order to attract a broader spectrum of audience. To make minions more attached to the players Sas has involved a new feature with that minions can be named. If a minion you are fond of dies, he can be resurrected at a Minion Graveyard. So get ready for the summer and let your minions do a service for you.

Most famous horror film is coming to video game. It is developed and published by Konami. Saw is an action horror video game. Saw will be released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. The game is an alteration of the Saw film series and has an uncertain release date of October 23, 2009. The game was originally developed by Brash Entertainment, but the game was ceased because of financial reason, Konami came up and pick the developing and publishing rights for the game. Saw takes place between the first and second films and will answer both the films. The game will take place in an abandoned asylum with different Jigsaw traps scattered around the area. Centre of the story is Detective David Tapp’s kidnapping by his alleged suspect, The Jigsaw Killer. Tapp awakens in an abandoned asylum and is forced to work through several of Jigsaw’s traps containing people with connections to Tapp. According to many media sites and magazines, Saw will have moral choices to be made that can result in multiple different endings. Some of the early screens show a man in a Jaw-splitter trap like the one used for the Amanda Young in the first Saw film. According to the producer David S. Cohen, “the game will be a combine action, puzzles. Mystery and terror” and that “it has always been a priority to make sure the Saw video game feels like it is as important part of the puzzle as each film.

Saw will use Unreal Engine 3, licensed by Epic Games. Throughout the game, the player is expected to make use of number of weapons. According to Dread Central Reveals that Saw will in fact have an online multiplayer component because, “working together will help you survive the game.” Throughout the game player will take control of several characters. The game will be played through the third person perspective.

The game was first presented at a press event on January 22, 2008 where a teaser trailer was shown. The trailer showed franchise staple Billy the Puppet preaching to reporters about their wasted lives. Some gameplay elements from one of the traps featured in the game. Oren Koules producer of the Saw movie series revealed that the characters in the game will be voiced by the corresponding actors who portrayed in the film. The game’s soundtrack will be fulfilled by all the music released for the every Saw film. The game was cased under the development of Brash Entertainment. After some time it was stated that Brash Entertainment was developing the game with Twisted Pictures, the game was left in the space. On February 6, 2009, Konami picked the game up for development and distribution. Since then Konami has released total 9 screenshots. First set of three screen-shots were released on April 3, it showed a worn down corridor with a collapsed floor. Other two pictures displayed a man in a Jaw-splitter trap like the one Amanda Young was in for the first film. Featuring Billy the Puppet, other locations, and more traps six other screenshots were released on April 13, 2009.
