Salvation is an upcoming game by Black Wing Foundation and N-Game Studios. Not to confuse with the name Salvation has nothing to do with Terminator: Salvation, a game and a movie released this summer. Salvation will be an action game played from third person shooter perspective. The game will release for the consoles of Microsoft Windows and Xbox 360. No released dates are confirmed by the developers, only info. on the release date is that it may release in the end of the year 2009. Main concern for the developers of the game is publisher, which is yet to be signed. Valve Corporation’s Source engine is used as the game engine. Salvation will have single and multiplayer as the two playing modes, co-operative multiplay mode is also expected. Genre for the game will be action game played in third person shooter perspective. Subject for the game is different and strange and have to do something with communication with god.

The game is based in the future world in the year 2026. To face Judgment Day major government of the world resorted to genetic engineer and stem cells. Genetic replicas of Christ and Antichrist and destroyed them to describe many fundamentals on Earth. Supported by the idea of communication to God through machines. These machines are also used to communicate with an army of clones called Angels. In this disturbed future every human movement is in the hands of technocrats. With the help of several super servers linked up to heaven, they make it sure that every decision is right and the only decision in the world. Technologies are prohibited to use and the population is under constant stasis. Every one has to undergo a brain scan called “repent” every week. If the technocrats find any wrong thoughts the person will be executed or worst send to hell through a cybernetic virtual environment system that makes a man suffer immensely.  Against this a group of rebels intensely individual people from throughout the globe came together and try to overcome the Technocrats. They are fighting a  gorilla war, but their strength is far less then the regime. The role given to the player is Narumi Amano. Player assumes three roles in the game, first one is Narumi Amano. Second character is Alexander Geist – a cynical psy powered smuggler, and the third and the final character is Sergei Thor – captain of the east European resistance. The game is described as a mixture of Action of Stealth with some settings of cities like London and Tokyo.

After the gap of five years Arkane Studios is back with a new game known as The Crossing. Valve Corporation is providing support to Arkane Studios in the development of the game. The Crossing will make use of the Source engine so the Valve Corporation. The Crossing will be played from the First person perspective. Fusion of the single and the multiplay gameplay will be the best part of the game. The fusion is coined as Crossplayer by the developers. No release dates are confirmed by the developers. Once release the game will be available on Steam for download. As of May 15^th 2009 The Crossings is considered “On Hold”. This announcement was made by CEO and creative director of Arkane Studios Raphael Colantonio. Later he also announced that the development of the game had been put on hold because of some unanticipated financial challenges.

The game add in the idea of parallel universes. It will be set across two completely different version’s of modern day Paris. The first one universe shares many similarities visually to the Modern day Paris. The city is fell into chaos after the collapse of the governing body. Second universe is based in the year 1307, here instead of being scattering the Knights Templar are controlling the French town. The story will swap amid the two universe continuously. Gameplay of the game is a fusion of the single and the multiplayer mode. External players will be allowed to play as enemies in the single player mode. For the players in the multiplayer mode they will try to avoid a more powerful character or to assassinate him in the single player mode. Skirmish is the name of a team-based multiplayer mode in the game. Just like the normal multiplayer mode this mode is also incorporated into the single player campaign. The main player will try to avoid the team based gameplay i.e. Skirmish. This unique gameplay will drive you crazy and you have to be at your best when playing the single player mode as you will not be against the bots, instead you will be against the humans, most wicked creature on earth.

Left 4 Dead best survival horror game ever, this game is often regarded as the one of the best example of sandbox style of games. The developers for the game Valve Corporation was planning a sequel to Left 4 Dead since the day it was released. Left 4 dead 2 is under the development of Valve Corporation and will be released exactly a year after the release of Left 4 Dead that is on November 17, 2009. It will release on the consoles of Xbox 360 an Microsoft Windows. The game will be distributed by Steam and will use the Source engine. Just like the previous game Left 4 Dead genre of the game will be First person shooter mixed with survival horror settings. Alongwith single player there will be 4-player Cooperative multiplayer and 4-vs-4 multiplayer modes included in the game. Left 4 Dead 2 was revealed for the first time at E3 2009 with a trailer during the press event of Microsoft. Survival horror settings are said to be deeper this time, also the game will have one of the best sandbox style gameplay.

Following the steps of Left 4 Dead, this sequel will be based in the shadows of some kind of apocalyptic plague, that is turning humans into zombie like mutants. This plague is forcing the survivors to make their way through the mass to the extractions points using the safehouses in the way. This time the game starts from Savannah, Georgia and ends up in New Orleans, Louisiana. The four new survivors for the game will be introduced with their backstories through dialogue in the game, just like the previous game. Four new survivors are Rochelle, a reporter of a local cable company, Coach a high school football coach, Nick a gambler and Ellis a mechanic. According to Valve, Left 4 Dead 2 will also explain the cause of the zombies in the first game. Story of the game also connects the two narratives of the Left 4 Dead games.

Left 4 Dead 2 is a First person shooter game like the previous game, some of the scenes are presented in third person or pre-rendered movies. In the main campaign mode of the game four players can play in the co-operative mode of the game. There will be five new campaigns, each featuring different number of chapters. All the non-playing survivors will be controlled by computer. Main objective in each chapter is to reach the safehouse location after struggling through hordes of infected zombies. To reach and secure the extraction point in each campaign will be the final chapter. This whole mode will be controlled by AI Director, Its an artificial intelligence engine that will monitor the players performance and change the challenges for the players as they progress through the game. for survival, players will have to access improved weapons like melee weapons such as an axe, baseball bat, chainsaw and a frying pan. A silenced machine gun is the new entry in the weapon section. Zombies will also have some modifications like there will be some zombies who are immune to fire.

Valve stared working on Left 4 Dead 2 just after the release of Left 4 Dead. In order to save the game to be leaked it was code named as “ Carnation”. Left 4 Dead explore more map then the previous one. The story from Valve is full to include cause and effects of the plague. Initially developers were thinking of a female character from the Department of Motor Vehicles, but that doesn’t worked out in the end. ESRB Forces Valve to change the cover page of the game. Original image showed the pinky and ring finger of the iconic hand torn off in addition to the torn-off thumb. To made ESRB calm down Valve change the figure and fingers were made bent again.

Counter strike was one of earliest game that gave players an online sensation of first person shooting. Weapons featuring in Counter Strike Online are almost same that of previous installments of Counter Strike.
