The Punisher: No Mercy is another upcoming game for the ultimate online gaming store PSN (PlayStation Network). The game will be played from the first person shooter (FPS) perspective. Reason for promoting The Punisher: No Mercy on PSN is straight Sony want PSN to be famous in hardcore gamers, and most of them belongs to the genre of FPS. The Punisher is developed by Zen Studious. This will be the first game for Zen Studious from the genre of First person shooter, prior to it they developed puzzle games like Zen Pinball and Rocky and Bullwinkle. The game will use Unreal Engine as the game engine. Since The Punisher is exclusive for PSN it will be exclusive for PlayStation 3. It is releasing today with only playable mode pf multiplayer.

The Punisher is an arena based first person shooter. First four arenas for the game at the launch are Docks, New York, and Factories. While in the game player will be able to carry only three weapons at a time. This will give the game a more realistic touch. In the story mode of the game four matches will be played on four different arenas and with different game types. Prior to start playing players will be required to select mod which will help in advancement of the player. The game will include online and multiplayer play, with traditional online gaming modes like one vs. many, co-op and deathmatch. The game will include vehicles, however they can’t be driven by then players. Total players in the game will be eight and each one of them will have their own unique qualities. Single player game mode of The Punisher will feature story scenes with some original artwork from Mike Deodato.
